(How to become a donor, Please do-that's a plead)
Lulu Continues to do well, all things considered...we are hoping to take her off the ventilator sometime this afternoon. There is much crying, wincing and pain-arms tied to the bed so she doesn't pull out her tubes. Because of the ventilator she doesn't make a peep. Complete silence, her eyes telling me exactly how she feels. It's like the stereo-typical nightmare where you are trying to scream but can't.
They are doing a wonderful job in the PICU, have loved all the staff. Miss our girls on the 3rd and 4th floors though. We made some great relationships with nurses and techs. Sadly we will never return there as she will now always be on the ICS. (Immuno Compromised Services) Where no doubt we will be regulars and make new friends. LuLu is quite easy to fall in love with as are all ill children.

You are beautiful sweet LuLu. I love you sooo much!!!!
I HATE seeing her with a vent again. It broke my heart to see her try to cry with the first vent down her throat. I don't like her coloring in that first photo. Wish I could see her. Whisper her a few sweet-nothings from her Aunt JuJu, please.
I am soo happy that the surgery went so well and that she has her new liver! I hope things so well for her and you guys too! We are always thinking about you guys!
I still love the story of you arguing with a fellow drivers ed. student in high school about the importance of being an organ donor. I still remember Dad telling us how important it was to mark "yes" on our first driver's licences.
I will continue to pray for LuLu's comfort & recovery~ her coloring does seem a little grey today. Hoping to see a "blushing" PINK LuLu off the vent asap! Love ya Lizzy~
Glad to hear all is well and I am with you on missing all those great nurses on the 3rd and 4th floor. We spent many days there.
i hope we get another pic of her beautiful smile soon! kisses Lu!
Liz I thought about you all day. I was going to come visit but I didn't have the cleanest patients and I don't want to give anything but love to lulu. Beau is a great nurse. I am so happy to hear that he has taken care of you. I will miss you more than you know. I will miss dancing with Lu and talking and laughing with you. I hope to come visit soon. Love you
She looks so much like Jordan in those pictures to me.
She is so precious! I love reading your blog and hearing of her progress. Her and Peyton will have to have a playdate when Lulu is ready. I have always had a donor sticker on my drivers license but last week I registered online to be a donor... I just wanted to make sure that there is no question about it if something were to happen to me. I would want to be able to save someone else's life as your angel did for Lulu!
