9:30 PM (Posted by Lizzie)

Dr. VanderWerf and Dr. Meyers have come into the waiting room to tell us that all is well. We should see her in about an hour in the PICU. She has overcome her biggest of all hurdles with many more to come. Hopefully they will be smaller and smaller bumps as time goes by. I will give more info and details later as we are now preparing to see our sweet LuLu who no longer needs a new liver. It's really weird to be able to say that.

Thank you God. Thank you medical miracle workers. Thank you donor Angel and donor family. Thank you friends, family and strangers for your love and support. Thank you London for being so brave and strong and for making us ALL better human beings. All my love sweet baby.

All I know is that this day is a miracle and so beautiful and you deserve it. After all that you have been through, you deserve the best day ever. I pray that from this day forward, Lulu will be healthy and happy. She is a blessing in your life. In so many of our lives. You guys are such a wonderful family! I truly hope that the best is yet to be for you all. What an amazing story and tragedy to overcome. What an example of hope for us all you are. I only wish that we could be there first hand to experience the joy with you all. God speed! And may God send his angels to watch over all of you!

It's so great to wake up and hear this good news. I hope all continues to go well. I'm sure many "happy" tears will be shed now and as she keeps jumping over the smaller hurdles ahead. What a fighter! What a wonderful sacrifice from the angel donor.

I love how Jason thought I was nuts as I walked into our room last night bawling, but then when I told him your story, I could see little tears in his eyes. I think because we have kids the same ages as yours, it really hits home and you can relate. I'm just so happy to wake up to happy news.
